Trade Justice Education Fund Openings

Seeking Organizers for Dynamic Campaigns on Global Vaccine Equity, Climate Justice and Worker Rights — Plus Candidates for Social Media, Online Giving and Administrative Positions

The Trade Justice Education Fund (TJEF) is a new nonprofit that sponsors public education programs designed to expand awareness about the worker rights, environment and climate,  and public health implications of U.S. trade policy. 

TJEF’s mission includes increasing public understanding of just, sustainable trade policy alternatives, as opposed to the business-as-usual neoliberalism and racist nationalism frames that are often presented as the scope of the trade policy debate. 

With deep roots in the labor, environmental, family farm, faith and consumer movements, TJEF’s officers and directors together have decades of leadership experience in trade issue education. 

Current TJEF programs include campaigns on global COVID-19 vaccine equity, climate justice, gig economy worker protections and more. 

TJEF is seeking highly-organized, self-starters committed to social and economic justice for a variety of remote staff and contract positions, including:

Organizers — Global COVID Vaccine Equity Campaign:  Focused primarily on expanding the global COVID-19 vaccine equity campaign, responsibilities include building relationships with local organizations and presenting at their meetings; organizing webinars, press events, community forums, vigils and protests; recruiting and training local campaign spokespeople; building a volunteer base of both grasstops leaders and local activists; and more.  Six-month remote contracts in states including CA, DC, FL, PA, MA, MN, OH, WI and possibly other locations. $4,000 ­– $5,000/month.  (Click here for more info)
