Trade Justice Contingent at the APEC Counter-Mobilization March & Rally

Officials from D.C. and multiple countries throughout the Asia Pacific region be in Seattle later this month for closed-door, invite-only talks on trade and the global economy. Join us in demanding transparency, labor rights, environmental protection, and consumer privacy in ongoing trade negotiations!

The Washington Fair Trade Coalition and other allies will be demanding “People Over Profits” in Indo-Pacific trade talks during a short rally in the park, followed by a march to bring our demands directly to officials at the APEC meetings at the Seattle Convention Center.

The trade justice contingent is one of several participating in this broader APEC counter-mobilization.  When you arrive, please look for the Washington Fair Trade banner and other trade-oriented signs — we’ll have plenty for you to march with!
